Returning for its 4th Liverpool Edition, the diverse programme of features and shorts will run from 28th-31st March at Picturehouse at FACT and The British Music Experience.
Doc ’n’ Roll will screen six features, plus a selection of shorts, telling the stories of ground-breaking record labels Blue Note and Trojan, Detroit Techno, female Punk icons and the stories of artists Badly Drawn Boy and Sepultura.
The Music Documentary Festival celebrates music subcultures by providing a unique platform to support the wealth of creative, compelling and unforgettable documentaries that celebrate the performers, labels, scenes and stories.
Doc’n Roll is supported by the BFI Audience Fund using money from the National Lottery to grow audience appetite and enjoyment for a wide range of independent British and international films.
